OUR STORY

Wellington Chinese Methodist Church (WCMC) is under the Provisional Annual Conference of the Chinese Methodist Church in New Zealand.

Our history and demographic identity as a church can be traced back to 2001, established by Rev. Joel Siew and a group of Malaysian Methodist believers, who saw the needs to establish our own Chinese Methodist church in Wellington. Today, WCMC has grown to become a church that is intergenerational, multilingual and multicultural.
